I thought this book was very well written. I love thw way Jaquiline Wilson writes as Hetty Feather, the foundling orphan girl. Its also really intresting to find out about what victorian christmas was like. Nick Sharrats illistrations were also very good.

I really enjoyed this book, my favourite character from this series is Jem, so I’m a little sad he isn’t in this book but I still liked the story.

Hetty Feather’s Christmas was a fictional story and the main character was Hetty Feather .For she was my favourite because she stood up for herself to make everything fair. I rated this book five stars because as I was reading it l couldn’t put it down it was so good.l would recommend it to someone who likes reading books about the past as l choose this book because it was set in the past and sounded like it would be a great book

I liked it because of what happens in the story, the characters are good and it was an interesting. I learnt things as its set in a different time, where she was a servant as she was an orphan - not like now-a-days.

It was a fiction story and my favourite character was Hetty my second favourite was her foster cousin Eliza. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

An enjoyable book about a girl who has had a hard life but her life is lighted up by an entirely different festive Christmas than a horrible one at the Foundling Hospital.
