In their third zombie-tastic adventure, Jack Sullivan and his friends June, Quint and Dirk discover that they might not be the last kids on Earth after all… And everyone is thrilled – except Jack. Living in a tree house with his best friends, battling monsters and escaping certain death – he’s been having the most awesome time of his life.

My favourite part of the story was seeing the visions that the Nightmare King gave Jack. I also found it really funny, especially when they played zombie games like "Toss the Hoop on the Zombie".

Children should read ‘The Last Kids On Earth’ because it is creative, appealing, adventurous, and fun to read. I should definitely recommend it to someone who likes battles and monster apocalypse stories. Whilst it's all about fighting, there are some fun moments when the children play ‘The streets are lava’ with a big war to destroy the ultimate planet devourer Rezzoch.
