The official playscript of the original West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places. The playscript for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was originally released as a 'special rehearsal edition' alongside the opening of Jack Thorne's play in London's West End in summer 2016. Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne, the play opened to rapturous reviews from theatregoers and critics alike, while the official playscript became an immediate global bestseller. This revised paperback edition updates the 'special rehearsal edition' with the conclusive and final dialogue from the play, which has subtly changed since its rehearsals, as well as a conversation piece between director John Tiffany and writer Jack Thorne, who share stories and insights about reading playscripts. This edition also includes useful background information including the Potter family tree and a timeline of events from the wizarding world prior to the beginning of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

I love this this book because i love all the Harry potters. Even though this one is a bit different with Harry and his friends a bit older there are still funny bits. I also went to see it at the theatre so if I read it again I can think back in that.

It was cool to see all the amazing Harry Potter characters when they are older and have children. And then everyone travels into time and Harry sees his parents die

It went a bit too quickly but I actually found it a bit scary in part 4 when Voldemort tried to kill Harry. I thought that the older Harry had been killed.

My favourite character was Delphi because she’s really good at sorcery and she’s evil and puts loads of spells on the others. She’s Voldemort’s daughter. I liked the ending because that’s when all the sorcery and magic happened and they were using spells against each other.

I like the Harry Potter series and this like the future of Harry and all his magic friends Ron Hermione and Harry Potter’s wife Ginny. I love how even though the two different family Malfoys and Potters actually become friends after their families quarrels.my favourite character was Rose Weasley because she had attitude but she was a loving cousin at the end of the day. I recommend this for Potter fans.

It was a very good book. I liked the ending. It is about Harry Potter's son stealing a forbidden timeturner and travelling back in time. My favourite character was Albus as he is very brave and adventurous. I think my friends would love this book.
