I really liked this book because he managed to get Excalibur out of the lake. I thought it was cool that a magic hand was hanging out of the water with Excalibur.

This back-story to King Arthur was great because you could never know what happens next. I would recommend this book to 10-17 because of the blood and gore. Because there are so many good characters I'm not sure which really good character to choose! With that much magic King Arthur must be a myth. Defintely rated above and beyond brilliant.

This is a great graphic novel about King Arthur from when he was a baby till he went to his rest! My favourite character is Kay, Arthur's older step-brother, when Arthur takes the sword out of the stone Kay is like, how is he the king?! He's only a teenager! But Kay isn't jealous of Arthur, he appreciates Arthur being the king. My favourite part is when Arthur gets Excalibur (Arthur's magical sword) from the Lake of Avalon, a hand raises up from the water and a maiden tells him to get it and then a boat magically appears! So Arthur climbs on the boat and goes and gets the magical sword, and then the hand goes back into the water. This is a great book! It's not very funny, but it is very intense and and there's a lot of battles
