it was a little bit upsetting because her mum was adicted to alcohol and she had no dad to stay with when her mum went out at hours at a time, leaving her at home with no one.

Nell Hobs is the only naturalist on the Beckham estate but she needs a dad. her mum has a serious alcohol addiction and she is practically living at her best friend(Michael)'s house. so with Michael's help she come up with a plan to make her dad step forward. a lovely story about what family means.
