I read about 4 chapters of this book and wasn't interested at all. Then a few weeks later my mum found the book and said have you read this and she said well then read it and it was SO interesting after that.

I enjoyed this book very much, I liked the tone and the fast pace of the book. I thought the story was original and interesting. The storyline was never predictable and I found it great reading. I loved the tension and suspense near the end and thought that it had a great theme on discovering a someone's true personality and bravery.

This story contained lots of mischief caused by a young orphan boy called Jack Fortune. It was fun to read about Jack's adventures with his uncle and see the relationship between them blossom. I would encourage others to read this fantastic story.
