A silly book about a little worm’s life goals and his comfort zone, exploring the food chain and animals feelings towards one another.

I thought that this book was really funny and humorous as it shows a journey that ends up being 10 minutes away from home.My favourite character group are the worms who Marcus finds after he escapes from the mole.I like this group as to save their friend they dress up as trees and do dances and chants. This is to make their friend Gwenda come back from Marcus’s friend Laurence, who mistaken Gwenda for Marcus.I recommend this book to people who like diaries and plot twists.

it was very funny but it has lost a star because sometimes I could predict what was going to happen next

It was quite funny experiencing Marcus the Worm, but I didn't find it very interesting. While I was reading, I kept thinking that the book was not written in the best of ways, but if you're a younger reader you will enjoy it. I recommend it for children 7-9 or maybe 6.
