This series is just so unique and original and that is its charm . The art style is really good and it feels like it has been done with care.

The illustrations were absolutely hilarious in this book, I had read it as a novel before but Hilda always gives me a good laugh!

I loved this because there is a twist in the story. Everyone's scared of the black hound but it turns out to be really cute and friendly. Twig is my favourite character because he is a baby deer fox.

The city of Trolberg has yet more secrets to unravel, as Hilda stumbles upon Tontu, a lost house spirit. Plunged into the mind-bending world of the Nisse, Hilda discovers hidden passages that only the house sprites can navigate... and something has been ransacking them all! Could this be linked to reports of an elusive beast haunting the city?

Hilda and the black hound is very enjoyable to read when your having a lazy day in. It's a comic which is cool. Hilda makes a friend called Tontu and together they find the black hound. I would give this a 10/10 very funny and interesting.

I got this book because my daddy read all the chapter books to me and I've watched all the Netflix series and the movies. So I am going to read all the comic books now.

I thought it was really good because Hilda was looking for Tonto and learnt that every house spirit is called Tonto! At the end they were just starting to make friends but the two house spirits got split up into different dimensions. My favourite character was Tonto because he has long hair. I would recommend the Hilda series to anybody who likes nature, animals, the outdoors, making friends and adventure! I love Hilda.
