I like Juliette because she was trying so hard to get Esmie’s dad together that she never really bothered to enjoy her own life. If I was recommending this book to someone I would give it to my best friend.

I thought this book was a great read, if a little easy. Esme never knew her real mum and is dying for a motherly figure to look up to. I would recommend this book to children aged 9-13

This book is interesting as it shows how much a child can do to help her/his parents.

It was a very good book! I would recommend it for people 9+. It was fiction. My faverout character was Juliette the nanny from France. She was very funny.

It was a touching story about a girl named Esmie and her brother Matthew. I loved this book and the way Esmie sees things. It was quite funny in some places, quite sad in others, and I think it it's a great book if you're aged 10-13
