This story is about a giraffe who doesn't want to be friends with a new animal at his school. Giraffe is mean to him and then feels left out when he isn't invited to a birthday party. Giraffe says sorry and gets an invitation to the party.

I was sad and happy reading this book. I was sad because giraffe was unkind to cheetah. I liked monkey and lion the most. Yes, I will recommend this book to my friends.

I really liked this book because when the leopard said that the giraffe wasn't aloud to go to his birthday party but when the teacher said the leopard and the giraffe had to work with each other to make a model boat and it had to float and then they both said that they had worked as a team really good so leopard invited giraffe to his birthday party and everybody was going to be at leopards birthday party.
