This book is made up of eleven different stories which are very nice to read especially at winter time where you snuggle up with a blanket. These stories will whirl you up on an adventure to a orphanage, a church that hasn't open it doors for 800 years.

The night at the frost fair was really good. I didn’t think she would time travel. It made me want to go ice skating

To be honest, having a ton of short stories in one book is kind of confusing, especially when they’re all by different authors, but surprisingly I enjoyed this book (in case you haven’t realised, this is not the kind of book you’ll usually see me reading). Now I would really like to read The Potion Diaries, since I enjoyed Amy Alward’s storytelling. Let’s hope that any classes are better that Professor Snape’s Potions lessons!

My favourite characters are Maya and Phoebe I liked the magic in it, I liked how Phoebe still had hope and how Maya didn't give up on her friend. I recommend this book to people who like winter spirit.
