I loved the book .Adam Blade is my favourite author in the world. My favourite character is Olly because he has a breastplate that is slowly turning him evil.But he doesn't know that he is geting corrupted which makes the story more interesting to read. I would recommend it to my best friend who likes tension and drama.

The title gives the impression that it is mainly about the shadow snakes when actually it is more about the shadow army. I think a better title would be something along the lines of 'The battle with Gore'. Other than this I thought the book went really well.
