This is the third/last book of the Rose Raventhorpe series and as exciting as books 1 and 2. I would highly recommend reading the series.

I found this book very enjoyable and I hope that Janine Beacham writes a new Rose Raventhorpe book.

It is a very good book, i would recommend it to 9-13 yr olds. The main character is Rose Raventhorpe and her friend Orpheus It is about a secret society of butlers who are searching for clues of a murder. Some people think it was an ancient ghost hound that haunts the lane that the murder was on but Rose thinks it was human.
