Roller Girl Review Astrid ,a young enthusiastic girl starts roller skating but when there is a rolling camp, her best friend Nicole has to decide whether she should join her friend in the roller derby competition or go to dance camp with the mean Rachael . She decides to go to dance camp with Rachael . I liked this fiction book as it had many ups and downs but eventually it had a happy ending . I also enjoyed the book because I find rollerskating fascinating . My favourite character was Astrid as she was funny and clumsy.

Astrid is best friends with Nicole: she always has been. However, things are beginning to change, and the girls go their separate ways, Astrid as a roller girl, Nicole as a dancer. Astrid's worst enemy has, Rachel, has come between them. But how will Astrid's new life as a roller girl go?

It was amazing. It was all about roller derby and a girl called Astrid who signs up for a roller skating camp. In the end the camp does a game (or a bout) at the halftime break for a real bout. I loved it!!!
