I enjoyed this book because I found it funny. I liked how cheeky Horrid Henry was. I would not recommend this book to young children as it teaches you how to bully your brothers and I don't think children should learn that. Older children are fine as they know what is right and wrong.

Horrid Henry tries to build his own snowman with sharp teeth and claws so he can win and get a Frost Ice Cream before his next door neighbour Moody Margaret wins and gets a Frost Ice Cream but Henry's little brother, Perfect Peter won a Frost Ice Cream. Henry was bored because he can't go outside on a rainy day so he decided to call Peter names like baby or worm. Henry made his own makeover to his friends so he could make it better than Margret's so he steals his mother's makeover. Henry's favourite author is TJ Fizz to see but when he is hungry , Henry thinks it is lunchtime so his mean teacher, Miss Boudicca Battle-Axe sent him to Miss Lydia Lovely's class.

This Horrid Henry book has 4 stories in it - one of them is the Abominable snowman when Henry takes his brother's snowman and places it on top of his own to try to get the biggest snowman and earn the prize of a years supply of ice-cream. The other stories are an author visit, a rainy day and Henry giving a monstrous make-over.
