Boyband of the Apocalypse
Tom Nicoll, David O’Connell
The closest he’s ever come to super-stardom is playing the back end of a donkey in the school Nativity play. Then his sister drags him along to an Apocalips concert and he overhears members of the band plotting to destroy all humanity. Starting with their own lead singer.
Can Sam discover his hidden talents, infiltrate the World’s Most Evil Boyband and foil their fiendish plan? One thing’s for sure – if he’s going to save the universe, he’ll need a bit of help.Reviews
I could not put this book down as it was amazing. My favourite person was Milo as he was smart and a great singer. I would totally recommend.

I have to admit that i am such a fusspot with book artwork and even though i thought the cover was a bit cool i wasn't entirely convinced that i would enjoy this book so i kept putting off reading it.. i was completely wrong and i absolutely LOVED this book. I read it all in one go and i am ready for the next instalment. Where i thought it was going to be a bit childish, it was actually very fun. Where i couldn't work out where the story was going to go, the twist actually surprised and entertained me. Lesson: do not judge a book by it's cover. A great, fun story with fantastic illustrations.
