Reviews

Aubrey and the Terrible Ladybirds is a book about adventures of a boy called Aubrey, who sucked a swallow stone and shrank to a size of an earwig! Aubrey made some friends with birds and insects, like Hirundo the swallow, Bernardo the bee and Eric the worm, and with some help from them, he saved the world from the great hunger. My favourite character is Hirundo the swallow because I love birds and I like swallows. I think this book is funny, exciting, and a great read for children 5 and above.

I thought this book was not very interesting, I rate it 3/5. My favourite person was Hirundo because he was a tiny funny. I did not have a favourite part! I would not recommend!

I think this was a good book but and bit confusing it was also a bit boring. My favourite character was Aderline because she was fun and nice. I probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Writing this review on behalf of my son before we forget to fill it in! He seemed to really enjoy this book, the perfect combination of adventure and nature. I think he wants to read the sequel…
