I think this book is an amazing book with twists and turns and i was shocked to find out the ending. I liked Rose the best because she is smart and found out the doom stone ( a stolen jewel ) before the inspector before everybody else. I would recommend children and adults to read this books.

Rose was my favourite character because even though the case was closed she found the real thief and murderer. The book was a bit slow at the beginning but then it became really exciting and the ending was a surprise.
