This book is really funny. My favourite bit is when Pirate Blunderbeard’s pants get a hole in and when there are fish in his toilet. They will bite his bottom.

I really liked this book. Pirate Blunderbeard was put in a competition by his mum and at first wasn't doing very well in the tasks but he kept on trying to win. I like Pirate Blunderbeard as a character as he is quite clumsy but keeps on trying. I would recommend it to a friend and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

This book would have been a 5/5 if it was a bit longer. The story was very funny and my favourite bit was where he had to try and find the treasure for the poty awards otherwise he would be banned from his pirate career. My favourite invention he made was the blaster hunter which helped him to win the poty awards.

I thought his pet was going to be a parrot but it ended up being a chicken. Everyone says they couldnt be a pirate but I think they are a good pirate. I like how the characters wrote letters to each other.

This is a good book about when blunderbeard has to win the POTY award but with zero points he doesn't stand a chance .My favourite character is Borris because she's funny .I would recommend it to anybody because its full of adventure.

This book was good. Barnacle Blunderbeard can made loads of mechanical things for his chicken and to help him win an award. I would recommend this book.

I liked this book because it was about pirates. I like the octopus best as he is as strong as ten pirates in each tenticle. My mummy likes him because his name is Kraken
