It was a fiction book about a little boy called Hamish Bigmore who was always very naughty and went to St Barty’s School. He ruined so many of the school plays because he was mean and rude. But then one school play called Jack and the Beanstalk, Hamish really wanted to play the part of Jack. Mr Majeika who was Hamish’s teacher and also a wizard decided he could be Jack as he could see that he really wanted to play that role. The play went ahead but Hamish was still naughty so Mr Majeika did some majic to fix the show to ensure they won as they were being judged. He conjured up a real giant and Jack scared him off and they won the best play! My favourite character was Mr Majeika because he did lots of magic. I would recommend the book.

This is a really funny story. Class Three went on a bus to the museum but when they went to go home, the bus wasn't there so the whole class had to ride on Mr Majeika's magic carpet and it kept taking them to funny places and not back to school.

It was a fiction book and I definitely like Mr Majeika the best because he is a pretty rubish wizard which is really funny. I think 5-7 year olds would like it. It was a bit young for me.
