""I never thought science could be funny . . . until I read Frank Einstein. It will have kids laughing.""
Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid

This first installment examines the science of matter.

In the series opener, an uneventful experiment in his garage-lab, a lightning storm, and a flash of electricity bring Franks inventionsthe robots Klink and Klankto life! Not exactly the ideal lab partners, the wisecracking Klink and the overly expressive Klank nonetheless help Frank attempt to perfect his inventions.. . . until Franks archnemesis, T. Edison, steals Klink and Klank for his evil doomsday plan!

Frank Einstein made one robot that turned into two robots that came alive, named Clink & Clank. Clink is the smart one and Clank isn’t so smart

There was a boy who wanted to be a scientist when he grew up. He was in his grandpa’s garage (his lab) to make a robot. He used loads of part to try and male a robot, but it did not work. Overnight it built itself and a bigger robot which he improved. My favourite character was the little robot because he was funny.

I like it when Frank finds out that Klink and Klank are in the black cube. I like it when Thomas Edison lies because he was hoping that Frank would go to the junkyard to save Klink and Klank

unfortunately I didn't really rate this book, the write up on the back sounded better than it was. Might appeal to some but not for me.
