I recommend this book to anyone into horror and scary things. Not for the age 7 or under. I've played the game, this book is not the game but it uses game information.

Couldn’t put the book down! I am a great fan of Five nights at Freddy’s and found this to be a very welcome addition to the ever expanding franchise. Not cannon to the games. The characters are relatable at times and have a very strong emotional attachment. I would definitely recommend!

A fiction book that captures your imagination throughout. My favourite character was Freddie. I would recommend it to those who aren’t easily unnerved and to a pre-teen audience.

Wow... There is not any way to properly express how I feel about this book, my gratitude towards its existence. It was suspenseful, enthralling and made me want to read more and more as I went on. It was so thrilling, yet it knew when to be peaceful, drip-feeding the tension constantly. It had an amazing plotline, and the interactions between the characters felt so real. So real you would be able to see them as real people. At one point in the book - pages 262 to 265) I felt almost nauseous, sick - it was described perfectly and put me in a 'fantastic' sense of unease. Carlton's emotions were contagious, and they slipped through me, like some parasite or virus. The description is spectacular - and I was able to picture everything that was going on so vividly, it was like magic. This has to be, indubitably, one of the best books I have read in a long time! I would highly recommend this to anybody - regardless of their reading ability, I can almost guarantee that they'd enjoy it. I am hoping that the sequel, 'The Twisted Ones' is just as good! Thank you Scott and Kira! You have inspired me to write a book, or a novel, just as brilliant as yours - though it will never get published, I'd at least have the satisfaction of writing surging through me, thanks to you! - Lady Kangaroo Sunshine
