Holly's dad is an explorer, having amazing adventures all over the world, while Holly is stuck at home with her mum, her baby brother and the dog. Now Dad's on a new expedition and he'll miss her tenth birthday. She's not happy - until she finds out that he's planned a special treasure hunt, just for her. I liked that the challenges weren't what Holly, thought they were going to be, they were challenges to get over her fears like baking a cake and giving it to Mr Pike. The character I liked the best was Dad, he was very creative with ali his tasks. I would recommend it to people who like adventures.

This is a book about a girl named Holly and she wants to go on an adventure. Her dad is a travel writer and gives her a ten-task challenge because she wants to be an explorer like him. I would recommend this book.

This was the first book I read out of this series. I’m this one dad sets lots of tasks for Holly to complete. Some are easy and some are more difficult. The book was funny in places and made me want to read the other ones in the series.

I have read this book twice now, I really enjoyed it. I found it funny. I would probably read it again, but not for a while. I would recommend it though. I think I would like to read the other books in the series too.

I loved this book because it had lots of adventures and surprises. My favourite person was probably mr Pike but everybody calls him Pike the spike. I would recommend this to people who like funny adventure books.

I loved how every time I read I left it on a cliff-hanger I read it each and every morning I never wanted it to end! My favorite character is Mr. Pike(Pike the Spike). He gave Holly (My 2nd favorite character)courage and practice for the talent show.

It was fictional I liked holly because she carried on up the hill even though she really hurt her ankle and mpaned at her mum for coming to the duck pond I would recommend this boook to someone else because it is exiting

It was good because Holly's dad set her ten tasks to do. The first one was bad enough having to climb to the top of Lofty the tallest tree in the garden.
