The Homeless Kitten

Lily and her family are going for a walk with their dog, Hugo, when Hugo sniffs out an amazing secret. A litter of kittens have been abandoned in the woods! Without their mother the kittens may not survive the night, so Lily’s family take them in. Lily loves caring for the kittens – and even Hugo does his best to protect the new arrivals. But her little sister is afraid of cats and Lily knows all along that she won’t be able to keep any of the kittens – even her favourite, the adorable Stanley. All too soon the time comes for them to go to new homes. How can Lily persuade her family that Stanley’s perfect home is with her?

I loved this book. It was a great story about a girl called Lily rescuing some kittens. In the end Lily got to keep Stanley the little white kitten.

I like it and l was surprised when Hugo likes the kittens l have never heard of a dog who likes cats and my favourite part was when Lilly’s family got to keep Stanley the cat

Not as good as other cat stories. I liked the part where Stanley gets the blame for hurting Hugo when it was actually the next door neighbours cat! I liked it, but it could have been better

I really like this book. The pictures are super cute and sweet. My favourite part is when Lily’s dog Hugo wags it’s tail and the cat lily found start playing together. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and I’d read it with them.

This book was really good! Holly Webb included some very emotional parts to the story and the pictures were lovely as well. I would recommend this book to anybody about 6-7+

I liked this book because it was about a kitten and I like kittens. It's a little sad as it's about four baby kittens and the mother died. A dad, the daughter and their dog went out walking and they found the four kittens on a bench and the daughter brought them home for 2 weeks until they put them into a cattery as they couldn't afford to keep them. I wouldn't reccomend this if you don't like sad storied as it was sad for me.
