When they went on a school trip the train engine stopped and the got down in a field and they ate their picnic. Then Dolly came to their rescue. She went to the back and she was tied to the train and the train moved.

Rosie (4) enjoyed reading this book! She loved Poppy and Sam “because they they could have a picnic on the grass instead of where they were going to go, so it was an adventure!”

I think you'd like this book if you like trains and horses, because the horse helps the train for the school trip.

There was a school outing for Poppy and Sam. So they went to a train station and decided to have a picnic. All the children climbed got into the train and peeped out of the window. Dolly the horse pulled the train and it started to move slowly and everyone went to their home.

I liked when Dolly pulled the train back to the station, because I like things getting rescued with horses and I didn't like when Rusty barked because I think it might have hurt the children's ears!
