Reviews
The book is about a boy called Dug who wanted to make a metal man. My favourite character is their dad because he looked like a Viking. My favourite part was the ending because Dug finally finished making the metal man.

I liked the fact that I have learned about the stone age and the iron age at school. So this book made sense to me. I would recommend it to other children in Year 3.

I think that Dug is really creative because he thought of making a metal man. I like WOOF the best since he is very protective of Dug and Mini and came to their rescue when they needed help. I would definitely recommend it to my friends Aisling and Stella as I know they would love Dug and Woof and of course the Metal Man!

;The book is very interesting because it explains how to make shapes like metal man from metal. The book tells how to make shapes from beeswax. I liked Dug because he was very innovative and made a wax man and then a metal man. The book tells fact about beeswax and bronze. I would recommend the book to others because it is very interesting.
