A collection of short stories for budding Detective Society members.
Daisy and Hazel invite you to discover their untold stories . . .

Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are famous for the murder cases they have solved – but there are many other mysteries in the pages of Hazel’s casebook.

From the macabre Case of the Deepdean Vampire, to the baffling Case of the Blue Violet, and their very first case of all: the Case of Lavinia’s Missing Tie.

Just like Daisy and Hazel’s cases, there’s more to this book than meets the eye, including:

Brilliant mini-mysteries, including two brand-new and never seen before stories

Daisy and Hazel’s own tips, tricks and facts

This is the perfect book for Agatha Christies In Waiting and fans of the award-winning, bestselling Murder Most Unladylike series.

I liked it because I got to find out more about my favourite characters daisy and hazel. I LOVE the other books and this fits in perfectly. I would 100% recommend it to anyone else who had read the other book and is over 9.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS SERIES! Robin Stevens writes them so well! My favourite character in this one is Hazel, because she is so different to Daisy but they get along so well! I would recommend this to anyone who likes historical fiction and murder mystery!

This extra novel of the series ‘Murder Most Unladylike Mystery’ is an awesome addition! Loved this book of short mysteries , tips , tricks and even recipes!Robin Stevens has included herself in this brilliant piece, and I LOVE that! I loved this book, as it taught me tips on how to become a detective. The book also featured lots of Daisy and Hazel’s first mystery cases that they solved when they first created their detective society. This is a book that you must read!!!!!!

First of all, I want to say that I loved the stories in this book so much. My favourites were The Case of the Missing Bunbreak (I loved the solution to it!) and The Case of the Blue Violet (also loved the solution and the clue given!). The Case of Lavinia's Missing Tie was also quite good because I'd always wanted to hear about that mystery from book one! The Secret of Weston School wasn't particularly good but The Case of the Deepdean Vampire was better. I loved hearing about George's Guide to Unsolved Mysteries it was so interesting and I was so puzzled by them especially the Eileen Moore one, though I admit, it is a bit creepy! Some of it was boring though and I skipped through them like Hazel's codebreaking section. The Great Detective Quiz was awesome too and it really tested my knowledge on the Murder Most Unladylike books. I enjoyed this collect but I think Once Upon A Crime would be a book better suited to me.

This book contains a few short stories (about Hazel and Daisy’s fellow detectives and friends) and recipes as well as tips and tricks (about how to make your own detective society) from the detective society. This book also talks about famous detectives and unsolved mysteries. My favourite section is the recipes as I like the sound of the Arsenic for Tea themed jam tarts!!

Read this at the beginning of the year and it was quite good. This is a follow-up book to the murder most unladylike series so I expected it to be a novel like the rest of them but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was some sort of an activity book. If you like cooking recipes, code-breaking activities, and exclusive stories they didn't think to include in the series this book is for you! This book was overall a good book and I would recommend it.

I liked this book because it had mini stories. My favourite was the mystery of the missing bunbreak. My favourite character was Daisy because she solved a lot of the mysteries.

When I started reading cream buns and crime, I really liked it. It was made up of different small murder cases solved by Daisy and Hazel. I liked how each separate story was written by a different person. There was also a junior Pinkertons case which was great because you never hear anything about their cases. The only thing was that I got a bit bored after reading a few of the cases and found some not as good as others, so I stopped reading them. However, I would recommend this book as it is a change from the usual books.

This is more of a factual book. It had many tips for detectives and stories about past detective or unsolved crimes. It was very interesting because the tips were actually helpful and it also had detective riddles, games, tests and code breaking to do.
