This book was excellent. It had a lot of jokes in it. Mr Bold, Mrs Bold, Uncle Tony, Miranda, Mr McNumpty, Betty, and "Trumpy"(Bobby) go on holiday to St Ives, Cornwall. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in funny stories and/or jokes.

I think it was really good because the main characters are really funny animals disguised as humans. The persons I like best is Minnie because she is the only human that knows about their identity and is very kind so keeps it a secret. I would recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book because it was really funny how the Bolds had adapted to the human nature and lived in a nice house in Teddington without anybody knowing that they were actually hyenas except Minnie. Minnie was friends with the the Bold’s children.I would have to say that my favourite character in this book was Miranda, the baby marmoset because she was so cute and knew exactly what to do at the exact time.U would definitely recommend this book to children who love animals and who love to laugh.

This book was full of funny jokes yet mysterious. It is packed with great illustrations and uses great dialogue. I really recommend it to everyone as a bed time story, whilst relaxing or even for reading it on the train!
