Tom and Elenna take on the fire hound and whilst there's blood in his veins Tom continues to give blood for the good of Avantia.....oh and Man's best friend turns out to be his worst nightmare!

An evil wizard called Marvel tries to use a massive free-breathing dog to destroy a city. Tom and Elena have to stop the great beast before it devours them whole. The main character of this book are Tom - the master of the beasts, Elena - Tom's partner, Rukar - the fire-breathing dog and Malvel - the evil wizard. This book is set in the Isle of Ghosts. You like adventure books? Then you will love Rykar the Fire Hound because danger lurks around every corner. You never know what dark things are in store, so be prepared for some shocks and surprises.

Amazing! I loved this book because it is about Tom and Elenna trying to stop the evil sorcerer Malvel from being freed from the Isle of Ghosts as he was dead from his evil deeds and Tom stopped him but now he can return to the Land of the Living if Tom doesn’t stop him, he could wreak havoc across the Kingdom of Avantia.

In the first book of this series Tom and Elena travel to the knights knoll and go through wizard Aduro's portal to the land of the dead. In this book they hike in the mountains to find Rykar and to get the fourth portal key to get back to the land of the living.

I think this book is cool because it has a hound that can breath fire like a dragon, but it can't be harmed by fire! My favourite character is Tom - the main character that fights the beasts. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes fire.

Rykar is a hound that can shoot fireballs out of his mouth! He has flames on his neck instead of a mane and he also has white eyes as he is a ghost beast. He is the only ghost beast that made it to Avantia but he got turned into ice that shattered him into pieces.
