Wow! I couldn't put this book down. It was great. I thought I'd be too old for it, but I'm 10 and it was perfect. Anyone from 8 could enjoy it. A good adventure.

This is the most exciting book I've read for ages. I want to go on an adventure with Jack! I think he should have spent more time with his grandad, but otherwise it's great! Read this book!

My mum read this to me, I liked the story and the characters. I got a bit confused, but mum explained it. We think it's better for children aged at least 8. I'm only 5. But it was still very good. I like Jack. I want to have adventures like him.

Jack and his friend have a mysterious adventure. I didn't want this story to end because it was so exciting. I hope there will be more! It was brilliant! Thank you A.S. Baker!

I loved this adventure. It reminds me a bit of Lord of the Rings with the map at the beginning. It's a great story.

Jack has a really exciting adventure. If you like adventure stories set in other worlds, you will love this. For boys and girls over 8 years old.

Jack discovers a mysterious stone and is drawn to its curious power and the unfamiliar words that are carved into it. He is transported to another world, Ecleciet, a bizarre but wonderful place that is controlled by a sinister and evil power. This is an exciting adventure. You will love it!

Jack hears whispered noises and creeps downstairs to investigate. They seem to be coming from his grandfather's table and his collection of strange objects from around the world. That is when he sees it, an old woman's face that appears in a mirror. She smiles and then vanishes.  Discovering a mysterious stone, Jack is drawn to its curious power and the unfamiliar words that are carved into it. What could they mean?  This book is great. I loved it! You must read this!
