Harry the Poisonous Centipede: A Story To Make You Squirm: Complete & Unabridged
Lynne Reid Banks
Harry may be a poisonous centipede, but he's not very brave. He would be quite happy never to venture into the dangerous no-top-world above, where flying swoopers, furry biters, belly wrigglers and the dreaded Hoo-Mins live! But his best friend, George, is full of mischief, and Harry just cannot resist a dare!

A different story to anything I've read before because it's about a centipede and also every chapter ends with a cliff-hanger. It's a fiction book. My favourite character is George because he is very adventurous. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes adventure stories and always wants to read more.

I liked this book because it was full of creepy crawlies. Harry disobeys his mother and goes up the pipe with his friend George and has exciting adventures.

It was about Harry who battled a human without getting squashed. And he didn't get squashed. Then his mother told him why he shouldn't go up there.

I’ve really enjoyed this book. It was quite weird and funny. It’s the longest book I’ve ever read. I liked Harry’s best friend called George which was short for his real name and to made it easier to say. In the book, they had to escape through a tunnel forbidden by Harry’s mum Belinda (which they did) and they kept a secret that I’m not going to tell you! I’d recommend this book to anyone who likes creepy crawlies.

It was fiction. I liked Belinda because she is very brave and takes care of her centipede child very well.
