This book was one of the best books I read. It's about a robot called Roz who gets stranded on an island. If you want to learn what happens, I recommend you read the book. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in animals.

This story is about a defective robot named Roz who was deserted on an island. She became friends with the animals on the island. But three other robots came to take him back the factory where he would be refurbished and sold. The animals helped her to defeat the robots but Roz decided to go with them in the end because he wanted to protect the island. I like this book because it has lots of ups and downs and because Roz had to go through lots of challenges.

I liked how the author made some stuff that got included later in the story like how the animals used to think the robot rozzum 7134 [long for roz]was a really scary monster.At the of the story they didnt waunt her to leave.

I liked it because it combined high-tech robots with nature and it gave the idea that all animals share an universal language and are as intelligent as humans.In the book, I like the motto that whoever you are, whatever you are, you can always fit in.

This book had a very sad ending but happy ending. The robot got taken to his makers to be repaired. When he first came on the island, he didn't know how to survive but with the help of his son Brightbill and the animals on the island, the robot manages to learn 4 things: how to survive in the wild, how to be a mother, learning to speak animal, and being a good friend.

It interested me because it was like a mystery and adventure and my favourite part was how she found a baby duck and asked the other ducks to see if it were their baby duck but it was unwanted so she took care of the baby duck.

A little slower to get into than other books but so glad that I persisted with it. Such a great story about adaptation and change and empathy. Really enjoyed it!
