I love the'Tom Gates 'series so I was not surprised that I liked this book. But there are always a few things that Tom regrets and to be honest, if I were him, I would have regretted the same things, accepting like Marc Clump's pet hamster, eating too many pancakes at Derek's house and throwing his food out of the window. Now I think about it, those books make me glad that I like school.

Quite an interesting book! My favorite bit was when they all thought of names for a band. My favorite was The Mid-Life Crisis Crew! I would recommend this book to 7-9 year old's!

I think the song that Tom, Derek and Norman have made for their band Dogzombies is very good how they have used their surroundings to form a song.

Tom Gates is like me! He plays music, he likes to draw and he talks too much I recommend it to all children but maybe not to adults because they probably won’t find it funny. However if you have a parent who laughs a lot and reads silly books then I would recommend it to them too!
