Attack of the Woolly Jumper
Mark Lowery
Mark Lowery is far too funny - Jonathan Meres, author of THE WORLD OF NORM Roman endures a royal visit and a school fashion show - in a jumper knitted by his Grandma . When the jumper causes a swan attack and a biker to swerve off the road, can Roman keep his whole life from unravelling?

Nurse Beany Jumpsuit 17.07.2022

I liked this book. I would recommend it to 8, 9 and 10 year olds. Only spoiled by the annoying and irritating character, Rosie. Other than that it was good.

This book was exciting and animal-based. In this book, Roman Gastrang got a woolly jumper from his granny and is sponsored to wear it by Rosie Taylor. The jumper isn´t really good and it gets destroyed throughout the week. He is also preparing for when Princess Lucy is coming into town. I recommend this book to peopçe who like badgers and exciting adventures.

This is a great, funny book to read. I wouldn't recommend it for a huge, challenging read as it is FULL of rude jokes and toilet humour. I would recommend it for a younger age group. My favourite character would be Darren Gamble, the main character's (Roman Garstang's) unwanted best friend because of how laid back he is and all of the crazy, almost psychotic things he does to people or animals that annoy him.

I think this book could have been funnier but it’s still pretty good. The other books in the series were funnier.
Esquire Stinky Sheep-Dip 20.09.2020

Just seeing the book cover makes me giggle. This book is fun because he's forced to wear something, and he doesn't normally worry about clothes, but he hates this jumper. The jumper is called "The Crumper" because it is so horrible!
Viscountess Honeycomb Manatee 09.09.2020

Very funny, hilarious he still had to wear the jumper.
Baron Cornelius Paperclip 28.08.2020

I liked this book because it was funny.
Count Peanuts Quagmire 24.08.2020

Another hilariously funny book about Roman Garstang and when a royal visit is announced it all seems to be going well, but then his gran knits him a horrible wooly jumper and he is forced to wear it all week!

Maybe favourite character is Rosie's dad because at the end of the story he gave Roman a £100 gift voucher for his shopping centre to buy doughnuts! I would honestly recommend it!
Count Chesney Bottlenose 30.07.2020

Very funny I recommend it

It was a story about a school boy named Roman and his knitted woolly jumper that gets him into big trouble. The main characters are Roman, the posh girl Rosie, Roman’s friend Vanya and last but not least the craziest boy in the world, Gamble. I liked this book because it was humorous and it reminded me of school. I liked Gamble as he caused lots of havoc.
Major Slip Wellington 24.07.2020

This is the 3rd book of the Mark Lowry series. A new character is introduced called Vanya. Roman's grandma knits him a new jumper that has 'arms 3 time longer than they should've been', the princess on it looked like 'a chimpanzee had fallen out of a tree and landed in a plate of spaghetti' and looked like 'a potato on a sweater'.
Senor Neptune Foxtail 22.07.2020

I think this book is very good
Prince Switch Bubble-wrap 12.07.2020
