This book is in a series of twenty one books based on five children: Anne, Georgina(who won’t respond unless she is called Gorge),Dick, Julian and George’s dog Timmy. They get together to solve mysteries and have FUN! The five have another mystery can they solve it? It I’ll be hard but they’ll keep it up and they’ll solve it! My favourite character is Anne as she is quiet, kind and helpful as well as being able to be a tiger at times! I would certainly recommend this as it is well thought out, light hearted and fun.

It was 3 citing and a bit scary. I would like to go to whispering Island. My favourite character was Julian. I recommend it for 7+ year old.

I think this book was truly nice and I really like the place this story is set in. My favourite character was Anne because she started off scared like a mouse but in the end was a tiger. I recommend this wonderful book to who ever likes adventure stories. Julian, Dick, George, Anne are asked to stay in a small cottage with a boy called Wilfrid. This cottage has a marvelous of the sea and Whispering Island. Everyone is forbidden to go there but that rule doesn't apply to the five children and Timmy the dog. They hire a boat and go sailing there. It said that there lay precious treasures in the castle on the island. They find the treasure that no one could find for centuries and soon become extra famous.

Nice book by Enid blyton for one of the last of the series of famous five . Wilfred because he has a mysterious pipe that whenever he plays it his tune brings animals of all sorts gathering round. I would recommend it to someone who is a fan of the famous five.

The five had gone to Wilfrid's cottage to look after him and they had a great mystery to solve. They went to an island and found the golden statues people were talking about

This fantastic book was about The Five going to stay with a boy, Willie in a cottage. But Willie has a mind-blowing talent: He can make animals come to him like he was a friend of theirs! At first, no-one really likes him: he's lazy, stubborn and difficult. But as he makes friends with Anne, Dick and Julian, even Timmy likes him! That drives George mad, so when The Five take a boat with them to go to the little 'Whispering Island' alone, George is very pleased. But after a series of unexpected events, the Five find themselves in a very difficult situation, that even George regrets her words... I recommend this book to children 10+ sa it was a great book.
