It is a good book and I think there is a hidden message in this book. I think it is that a girl always needs a man i their life, but i don't think it is true.

It was a really great book.The story is about Mattie and her cousin Maya and their mums are twins.Maya's dad went away and she developed a crush on Jake. This was because her dad was away.It was a really great book but I would recommend it for tweens and teens. Not children like 3-7 because they wouldn’t understand some parts of the book.When Maya dyed her hair it was so cool.I really like this book and hope to see more Jean Ure books.

I thought this book was a intresting account of love in real life , it shows you that you cant always get what you want in life . Aimed for 8 or above . I also read love and kisses by this author which is when i knew i loved this author . It is also reccomended by Jacqueline wilson who is my favourite author .

I liked this book. It was really funny how half of the school fell for a rumor that one of the children had gone on a romantic runaway with one of their teachers.
