I felt very sad when Anna Hibiscus’s grandfather died, but she could still talk to him in her heart. Double and Trouble often got Anna into trouble and she sometimes got cross with them but they are funny twins. Double and trouble got so sad when grandfather died that they stopped getting into mischief. It made my mama cry!

I think this book is really sad because Anna’s grandfather died. She was crying a lot, same as her family. Everyone started to draw her grandfather apart from her as she was too sad. My favourite part of the story is Anna asked her friend to come back. I will not recommend this book because this book will make my friends so sad.

I liked this story because it was like Anna still had a part of grandfather in her heart. Even though she couldn't see him she could hear him. I also liked this story because Double and Trouble were sad because they thought everyone had forgotten about grandfather but they hadn't even though they were carrying on doing things.

I loved this book. It was sad when Anna's grandfather died. It made Grandfather smile when everyone told him that Anna was playing in the garden and laughing. Anna's brother's Double and Trouble were very naughty because Anna always got the blame when they were doing the naughty things! I recommend all the Anna Hibiscus book's because they are all amazing!!!!!!

Anna Hibiscuis has twin brothers who can't stay out of trouble and love climbing! But this is also a sad time for Anna as her dear Grandfather passes away so we see how important family is to Anna at this sad time.
