The Bolds are a family of hyenas living as humans in a suburban house. But now their kindness to animal waifs and strays has become legendary, and more and more animals keep turning up to stay! Roger the sheep flocks to their house, and Fifi the poodle turns up to learn some new tricks, whilst Sheila the crocodile decides to stay for a while.
But when the Bolds take in a couple of race horses who are on the run, they worry their animal magnetism is getting to be too much. Have these hyenas bitten off more than they can chew?

I loved it because first, they tried to help all the animals that were outside and then the police came to their house because they saw something strange hanging out of the window. It was fiction I mostly like Mrs bold because she helped all the animals to try and live like humans, to have table manners and she did teach them

I love how all of the animals have made a life as a human, well all except Shiela. If one character was to be my favourite it would be bobby. My least favourite character was fifi.

This was he funniest book I ever read! I loved Betty the twin girl of Bobby. It was a very good book because it had one big happy animal-family. I loved the way instead of having big plots -like if that character didn't escape they would be trapped forever- it had a funny plot; if you didn't act like a human people will be wanting you as a pet! I would recommend this to all ages and especially to people who like funny stories!

It was eye-catching and made you want to read more. Mr Bolds funny jokes made it more fun. The Bolds are a cheeky lot. If you like adventure this book is for you

Absolutely hilarious jokes and characters. Nail biting at points and funny at others. Good book to read if your a person for jokes and mischief!
