Woody is forever worried about being different. He thinks himself weird and a bit of a wuss, and two bullies Della and Casey make sure he doesn’t forget that. It doesn’t help that his mum is slightly bonkers. She dresses up as a sheep for a living – mostly for her job as a children’s entertainer. And not to mention the fact that she forces Woody to wear old granny jumpers that she finds down the local charity shop. Gooner the dog doesn’t help either, always getting Woody in some awkward, smelly and rather messy situations!
But Woody’s got a plan to get unweird – and fast! Just in time for his first day at secondary school. He starts off with some rules . . . ’Don’t listen to Mum about anything to do with your life, ever’. . .and. . .’don’t wear old lady clothes’. And with the help of his way more normal, yet rather extravagant GlamMa and the discovery of his Dad’s peculiar lucky charm, he soon finds a new sense of charm, un-weirdness and a heap load of shenanigans come his way!

Amazing but can be improved to me because it dose not tell me who the illustrator is on the front cover. Yes I do know we only need the author but if it was a question in a school test about it,it would be impossible for full marks

I loved this book. It was about a boy who was getting bullied because they thought he was a bot werid,so he made some rules so he could act normal.

Great book about a boy with an embarrassing mum, who can't fit in to secondary school. He finds being cool is just too much and his friends like him weird. His cool nan tries to help him fit in more along the way.

This book was very good but as the title says woody Trindle is indeed very weird !!!! he tries very hard to be normal but does he really need to be?

How not to be weird is a really good book! It is about a boy called William wody trindle who's ussually called wody! Wody thinks he is really weird but before he starts secondary school he wants people to call him William and to stop being weird!I think everyone should read this book!
