The city of Trolberg has some dark secrets to reveal… and our favourite blue-haired adventurer is about to discover them!

Hilda and her mum have relaxed into city life now, but Hilda is starting to shirk her responsibilities and has enough magical friends and tricky ways that it’s easy for her to defy her mother’s wishes. After a daring escape attempt, the pair find themselves on the other side of the wall, furious with each other and forced to embark on a dangerous adventure through the land of the trolls…

This book is amazing. It ends on a cliffhanger because Hilda turns into a troll at the end. It made me feel really excited and I wanted to read the next one. Baba the baby troll is my favourite character in this book because she is cute.

Hilda is hardly at home any more, seeking days filled with excitement, and her mother can't help but worry... In a moment of tension, the pair find themselves flung far away into a mysterious, dark forest - the land of the trolls! Can they work together to escape the clutches of these sinister stone creatures?
