I liked the bit where they had the race because a different person won but it would have been a bit boring if Dixie won as he was the main character. My favourite character is Dixie because he is smart and funny. I think children in year 1 and 2 would like this book.

Dixie and Percy were cleaning Dixie’s car. Dean came over with his bike and said wow what a cool car. Dixie wanted to be fit like Dean and started exercising and riding bike. Dixie and dean thought a plan to race on bike. Beryl won race. Dean didn’t do well in race.

It was a very good and funny book and i appreciate the friendship between Dixie and Percy but when they where cleaning Dixie's car and dean came along and Dixie paid all his attention to dean and percy was feeling left out and sad and forgotten about i felt sad that percy might have lost his friend but after all of the adventures Dixie,Dean andPercy went on on their bikes and found out that Dean had cheated and that's how he was not out of breath and always infront of them ,always waiting for them on the next checkpoints but at the end i felt happy because Dixie and Percy had become close again and had given the bike a rest and were eating cackes and pastries again at their favourite cafe in the car and never saw Dean again.

Dixie o day had a new bike. Dean told him to have a race.more and more people came to the race. When it was finished Dean came in last.

My favourite character was Dixie because he was addicted to his bike. I would recommend it to my friends because it's funny.

I think that this book was a relly good book because it tells me that you should never give up and dont push to hard if someone In front because you will fall and however well you do you will always be good so dont listen to people who are quite meen to you so don't listen to them
