I thought this book was awesome and amazing with its magnificent ways. I think that Jasper was absouletly horrid but I think that Jess was so ever lucky to get her very own horse after she made it so clear that she was absouletly horse-mad and would do anything for them. I think that Jess was so every lucky espicially earning a mare like Skylark who is very skilled and proficient. I think my faviroute charcter was Skylark, not Jess because she gave in eventually when Camilla and her so called 'friends' teased her and said that she was just scared. I was horrified when she took the risk just to make herself look good because Skylark could have been hurt and Skylark was already hurt so... that isn't a good start and then she also didn't say sorry to Tom when she acted like on of those Rychester girls and did something super daring, risking their life in the process. Rosie had a right to go off and 'make' Izzy her new best friend. I like Skylark though because even if she isn't a human being she was really kind, well at least that's what I think from what I read and she always answered Jess, even if it is just a snort and he didn't mind when he was made to jump over the pile of twigs and logs so recently after his little accident and when he even had the acccident when he fell over he staggered to his feet which I thought was really cute and brave espicially when it turned out that his knee had been hurt. Although there was no severe ingury, I was still heart-broken when the nice pony was injured. I would reccomend it to horse-made people and even animal-mad people because you can really imagine yourself there and the description is amazing. The ideas are also very creative.
