Tamsin knew that she shouldn’t have gone into the water. After wiping out on her board, she is dragged down, into the deep . . . Into a long-forgotten world of ancient magic. Mermaid magic, dark and unforgiving. Her family is in grave danger – and only she has the power to save them.

This is a graphic novel about a girl called Tasmin who goes to rescue her brother who has been kidnapped by a mermaid who has stollen every boy in the family for hundreds of years. It turned out the boys were being sacrificed for magical gifts! It was an exciting book.

I thought it was cool. It was interesting because Tamsin was saving her brother Morgan. So she was a hero. I would recommend it to someone else.
