This was a great addition to the "Horrible Histories" series, and helped me to revise my facts on the Celts. It is funny but has a lot of historical accuracy too! Did you know? The Celts were good with directions- they created a colour compass!

I really enjoyed this book because it's full of great historical facts, gory and gross. My favourite chapter was the Celtic punishments. Terry Deary is one of my favourite authors and I love the Horrible Histories series. I would definitely recommend these to any readers who want to find out the gruesome bits behind historical events and characters.
