A special anniversary edition, with a striking new cover design, to celebrate 10 years of the Chaos Walking trilogy

Prentisstown isn’t like other towns. Everyone can hear everyone else’s thoughts in a constant, overwhelming Noise. There is no privacy. There are no secrets. Then Todd Hewitt unexpectedly stumbles on a spot of complete silence. Which is impossible. And now he’s going to have to run… This new edition marks the 10th anniversary of the award-winning modern classic, soon to be a major motion picture starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley.

i thought it was an amazing read. my favourite character was viola; because she was intelligent and determined. i would recommend it to ages 6+or people who enjoy a fantastic adventure story. although it is an extremely good read i wouldn't recommend finishing the daily bedtime reading on chapter 31.

It was very good and fast paced. There was a lot of violence and fighting which made it have a lot of tension. My favourite character was Manchee, the dog. I would recommend it to children in the age of 13-19 or adults who like violent books. It is set in a different planet to earth where everyone has escaped to.

The Knife of Never Letting go is a masterpiece! 'The Knife of Never Letting Go' is a killer book from a killer series! The story is rich and fast-paced, which keeps readers on their toes at all times. In this story you not only become emotionally invested in the protagonists story ark, you also slowly sympathise with the "villains "throughout the trilogy. This book not only questions what becoming an adult means, it also shows us that there is not a clearly defined line between good and bad. It also shows to save the people we care about sometimes we need to sacrifice our beliefs. This is a book that forever should be remembered not only for it's detailed descriptions of scenery or it's relatable characters but what this book teaches us about society. I would recommend it to children aged 13+ and for anyone who loves a good adventure !

this book was about a boy called Todd on a planet (not earth) who is the last boy in his town called prentisstown since to become a boy you need to be 13. when he is 1 month away from his birthday he sees a place where there is no noise and this is very unusual because at all times you can actually hear everyone's thoughts and now he is going to have to run form the prentisstown army

Couldn't put it down. I've read a lot of dystopian/scifi YA novels and this one has blown me away! The story rushes you along and the characters grip you right from the start. The characters follow a river and that is exactly how the story feels. Rushing and crashing along the pages with only temporary lulls. A unique story with excellent world building. For any fans of YA fiction. I can't wait to read the next one!

I absolutely love this book and the trilogy is my favourite books of all time. The first two chapters are quite hard to grasp what’s going on but if you really persevere you will soon be lost in the magical world of Patrick Ness! This book has changed ,y life and will stick with me all through my life.

It is the first book in the Chaos Walking series, followed by The Ask and the Answer and Monsters Of Men. The story follows Todd Hewitt, a 12-year-old boy who runs away from Prentisstown, a town where everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts, after learning of a secret about its past.

It was really fun and imaginative, and the characters all had goods backstories, for example there was a dog that, because everyone can hear each others thoughts, can basically talk. i would recommend it to someone who likes books with a lot of action in them, or books about what could happen to humans in the future. all in all it was a really cool book.
