Before I even opened the book I thought the book is going to be fiction. It was so good and about a girl who could talk to animals and tried to help them.I loved reading about a little hippo that was tried to help.I would recommend this book to children 7+ because there were some worsd I didn't understand.

I did not like it when Great-Uncle Horace and Zoe's Mummy go away for the holidays. Zoe has to go to her auntie's house, leave the animals and Meep has to be locked up in a cage. Meep's owners had kept him in one until Great-Uncle Horace had rescued him. Meep found cages scary now so the zookeepers let Zoe look after him in their little cottage. In the end, Great-Uncle Horace and Zoe's Mummy don't go on the trip. I like it that way so none of that happens.

It was a Fiction story. I liked Zoe the most. I liked the fact that she enjoyed animals, grew up with them and had a secret power of speaking to them. I learned from the book that anything bad in life will always lead to a good thing. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I liked this book because Henry the happy hippo helped Zoe to be happy and stay at the zoo for her summer holidays. I liked Zoe the best because she always has ideas. I would recommend it to anyone who likes animals especially hippos.

I really enjoyed this book because there were cute animals and Zoe looked after them. In the end they realised the enclosure was too small and whilst Zoe’s great uncle was away looking for more animals they made the enclosure bigger. The manager in charge while he was away wanted to send the big hippos away because they were too big, but Zoe made them make the space bigger so they could stay. I really liked Zoe’s character because she loves animals like me. I would recommend this book to other animal lovers
