I think that if you don't mind books that are a bit scary but can manage a bit of threatening then this is the sort of book that you would be looking for. 'Will Alex be-able to rescue her father? find out by reading the book.

I love how a simple plumber takes care of her loving dad in the face of death and thinks of the bravest things to do, although she is extremely freaked out!!!

This book is SUPER exciting and I read this all at one time. This book is a teeny bit scary because you don't know what is going to happen next. My favourite character was Alex because she was very brave to do what she did to save all 10 of the hostages. I would recommend this book to 8 and over as it is quite chilling and you need to be a bit older to get the story line. Hope this helps! :)
