I have read this book

This book was really good, I laughed myself silly. I think my favourite character is Polly, a 9-year old girl who has the one goal of protecting her friendly town Lamonic Bibber from Mr Gum's evil plans. I would recommend this book to someone who needs to be cheered up, it really works.

Lots of bonus stuff. Friday O’Leary tells a story about Mr Gum and at the end there is lots of bonus stuff. It was good because it explained how Mr Gum and Billy William met.

I liked Mr Gum because it was kind of a mystery book and the detective was very funny. I would recommend this book to anyone because if is very funny and if you want to you can try and work out what is going to happen.

It was too funny! My favourite character was Old Granny because she was up in the middle of the night and Friday told her to go back home as she wasn't meant to be in that bit of the story!! I would recommend it to people who love funny books and who have read the Mr Gum books.

An amazing and very funny book, full of trickery and detecting. My favourite character was Polly, the protagonist- and the hero of the story. I would definitely and instantly recommend this for all ages.
