It's a good book with a deep story and many quite dynamic actions and events. It tells about the relationship between Ocky, the circus monkey, and Harry who was the main character in the book. They both had run away from the house and the police. They took the train, but things slightly changed... The story kept me wonder 'what's next?' and made me read more, and more. The ending of the story was interesting too. I definitely recommend this book to those children and adults who love to feel excitement, tention and adore animals.

A lovable story about a circus monkey, who runs away from the circus to live in the bomb site with Harry. The story starts building up on excitement when Harry and Ocky the monkey run away, and are confronted by gypsys and decisions. A wonderful book, recommended to Michael morpurgo fans

I thought this book was really good but I do still have to score it a 4/5. My favourite character was Ocky becuase she was really funny and was aware of what was happening. The story was about Harry having a hard time at school and he was getting jealous of little George. He decides to run away with Ocky when he finds out the police know about his den. I definatly would reccomend to people that enjoy adventure stories. My favourite part was when Harry was at the camp with the others.

This book is a fiction story. My favourite character is Ocky. This book is about a boy called Harry and he is in trouble at school, he doesn't like the new baby or his stepfather. Then he befriends a chimpanzee called Ocky. his owner works in a circus. He wont mind if he borrows him will he. His stepfather and the Police find out he and Ocky are on the run

I really enjoyed this book, as the plot was fantastic! At the beginning, it is a bit confusing but later on in the story, it clears up everything. I loved this book!

I like this book because it is full of adventure. It shows how people care about others and that sometimes what you want isn’t what’s best for you. My favourite part is maybe when the family meet the boy and Ocky the chimpanzee.
