My favourite character is Stanley. At the beginning the big bulitin board he got for Christmas fell on him and Stanley brother shouted, hey look and then his mum came in and said hay is for horses not people.

I liked it because Stanley and his brother are always trying to help each other and whatever happened Arthur would always help him get through it. I liked when Arthur pumped up at the end. I like the authors idea that he is flat.

The book introduces Flat Stanley, he can slide through doors. At the end his brother pumped him up with a bicycle pump and he was normal again. I liked this bit. I would recommend it to my friends.

This was a great story. Stanley had lots of things happen to him, like a picture falling on him in the night which made him flat. He worked out ways to make this a good thing, so he could slide under doors, and he helped his mum to get her keys back. He helped people to deliver letters and even flew as a kite! I would recommend this story to anyone who likes reading adventure stories.
